capitalism is unsustainable
One generation ago people functioned on much much less than we have today. Were they any less happy? The corporate world spends billion of dollars trying to convince us that we need their products, but our stress, depression, and unhappiness is increasing almost as fast as our spending. Why has the Canadian economy increased by leaps and bounds in the last 15 years, but we can no longer afford schools, hospitals, or social programs? Corporations no longer have to pay any taxes worth mentioning, yet enjoy all the benefit that any flesh and bone citizen of this country gets. This system is killing me. This system is killing all of us.---Jeff
